Amy Daane

Amy joined The Real Estate Group in 2011, after several years of successfully investing in local real estate. She has a thorough understanding of the real estate market and is very connected in this community.

With a degree from Cal Poly in Liberal Studies and a minor in Spanish, as well as a Bilingual California Teaching Credential, Amy taught kindergarten and first grade in the Bay Area. In 2000 she moved to Los Angeles and sold data networking for AT&T. There she earned her Cisco Networking degree and became a Market Leader at AT&T. At this point she and her husband purchased their first property in San Luis Obispo, as an investment, and became landlords. They then bought a home in Los Angeles.

After their first daughter Lily was born, Amy & her husband decided to move back to SLO to raise their family. They sold their home in Los Angeles, and purchased another property here in San Luis Obispo.

When their second daughter Sammy arrived, Amy decided to work from home, selling telecommunications as an independent agent. She remained involved in the community, joining the CASA guild as a volunteer. She also started a children’s garment business, “beans and jam” and sold her clothing locally.

Amy and her husband have always had their eye on the San Luis Obispo real estate market, and purchased another investment property in 2009. Due to her passion for real estate, Amy got her license and joined the Real Estate Group in 2011.

Amy is currently serving as Vice President of the board of directors for CASA of SLO County. Her daughters attend Bishop’s Peak School where Amy is also an avid volunteer and PTA member. Her husband plays in the local rock band, “Truth About Seafood” and is a talented graphic designer and photographer. He has owned Great Daane Graphics since 1996.
